a belated halloween horror story!!!
my co-intern (who worked here last semester, aka “familiar with the area” and maybe the menu binder in the kitchen?) asked me if i knew any good chinese food places around. i didn’t know because i’m too poor to eat out/bring lunch/just buy $2 soup at the Von’s next door. so i told her what any logical, internet (and AMERICA) loving person in the year 2009 would do—go on yelp.
“what’s that? how do you spell it?”

also, this girl is a PR major, as in she studies communications, as in she studies the best ways to effectively reach people. and yelp is spelled like it sounds. and it sounds like a great way to reach people, especially hungry people.
