![TIME.com decided to write an article about Hipsters! As of right now (8/1, 12:30am EST) it’s the 4th most popular article, probably because of hipsters reading it and passing it on to other hipsters, laughing at the truthiness of it all. It’s only a handful of paragraphs, provides a brief history of the hipster, complete with possible etymology.
The point of the article is: This generation of hipsters is the worst! They don’t do anything! They’re going to rot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn! And they’re the dead end of Western Civilization.
My favorite part: “Hipsters are…the only ones in America who still think Pabst Blue Ribbon is a good beer.”
