(as a handful of you who regularly read this blog may already know) my april started off with a bunch of stupidness and misery. but today was sunny, and the weekend was festive (cambridge science festival, fan pier: VOR, puma).
also, this little note from my history professor cheered me up:

Oh, you know, just Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt is probs comin’ to Boston to run around and be awesome. USAIN BOLT! SRSLY FAST.
Also, Puma made a giant store/bar out of shipping containers, painted it red, and called it Puma City. Should be pretty cool to go check out, even if Usain Bolt ends up being a no-show.

today i decided that i would go for a run, but first i slept in a little longer. i have not run since i tried to catch the bus last week, and before that… maybe a year.
about a mile out, i remembered that i do not like running, my ears feel funny. so i walked back home the long way and saw many things.
i saw lots of cars, a few other runners, and a too-cool kid riding his bicycle no-hands...
